The Merle A. Hinrichs International Business Information Centre (IBIC) supports learning and information needs for students who are on the Glendale campus, enrolled in Thunderbird’s online programs, or studying at other locations around the world. It provides 24-hour online access to 50 databases that include thousands of journals and newspapers, books, specialized business resources that cover company and industry information, marketing, finance and other topics relevant to the curriculum. IBIC’s online guides are designed to direct students to the most relevant sources for assignments and projects, and help users become familiar with business information tools and build information competency skills no matter where they are located. Librarians are available to work with students in locating information, using resources and planning research. A variety of online student services, including the "AskIBIC" bulletin board on Thunderbird's intranet site, offer help and answers to questions for on-campus and off-campus students.
