To apply for the Post MBA Web-based program, fill out the online application. |
Note: An interview with an Admissions Representative may be required.
Admission is offered to those whom Thunderbird believes will succeed within this program, excel in their chosen careers, and exhibit the potential to lead effectively. Assessment is based on a qualitative evaluation of the documents an applicant provides. Becoming a Thunderbird is your entry into the global community. It is an investment that yields lifelong profits. Once an application is complete, it is presented to the Executive Admissions Committee for evaluation and decision-making.
Admission decisions are made within 4-6 weeks. Applications received after the priority deadline are considered on a space-available basis. A space in the class is not reserved until the tuition deposit of U.S.$2,850 is received.
Note: Please check with the consulates of each of these countries to verify the process for obtaining a visa based on your citizenship.
You must meet the graduation requirements specified in the Program Catalog in effect at the time of admission, provided that your studies are not interrupted by an absence of more than one term. Students returning after an absence of more than one term must follow all regulations in effect for students entering in that class. Returning students will be expected to pay tuition and fees in effect at the time of their return.
Web-based Post MBA degree requirements must be completed within five calendar years of a student's initial enrollment. Courses completed earlier than five years before the effective date of graduation may not count toward degree requirements.
Students in the Post MBA program are preparing themselves for careers in which they will likely be given supervisory responsibilities at a senior corporate level. They are, therefore, expected to demonstrate maturity, self-discipline and ethical behavior throughout the period of their study. The School may cancel a student's registration at any time for conduct deemed inconsistent with the maturity expected of an international executive.
All students who matriculate must abide by the Honor Code, which is available on the Web site and printed on the Web-based Post MBA Application for Admission.
All students must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0. Students who do not maintain the appropriate cumulative grade point average will be placed on academic probation for one term. Failure to achieve a 3.0 minimum cumulative grade point average after one term on academic probation will result in dismissal from the program.
Note: When filed with the Registrar's Office, all grades are final and are not subject to change by reason of a revision of the instructor's judgment. Changes may be made only to correct an error in computation or transcription.
To participate in the program effectively, students are required to have an advanced computer system and related software. Your computer, which must be multimedia compatible, provides access to the Internet for course information, as well as interaction with faculty, other students, and the Post MBA administration. Selected course materials may be distributed on CD-ROMs.

You are responsible for maintaining a useable e-mail address server. Occasionally, e-mails "bounce back" to the program administration because of insufficient storage to receive incoming e-mail. Sometimes this happens because the receiving server has limited storage capacity and/or the user has saved too many email messages. Because of this issue, it is recommended that your permanent e-mail address has a minimum storage capacity of 10MB.
Note: Thunderbird provides you with an e-mail account which meets this standard.
The Microsoft Office XP software and Windows XP are used in most courses and you must be proficient in their use. Therefore, you must have the most current versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MSN Messenger installed on your computer. Students are also responsible for Internet provider access fees and access fees to on-line research.
Note: Program costs and policies are subject to change. At any time, the Web-based Post MBA program reserves the right to make whatever changes it deems appropriate in course scheduling, assignment of instructors and prerequisites.
